Today’s 365 “Sunday morning coming down”

Halo napping this Sunday morning.

She’s got the right idea.

Today’s 365 “Scariest toy in the word”

Okay. I admit there are probably scarier toys but this one really bothered me. I don’t know if it’s a wolf or a dog or what it is but I couldn’t stop staring at it.

In an aside note, I took this photo in a junk shop on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. The owner was watching a show about Psycho Killers on his telly. I know this because it was extremely loud and you could hear it all over the shop. It is very unsettling to try and shop with the sound of someone naming off their victims blaring in the background.

Via Taco Grande!

Meet Taco.

Brett bought me a new puppy to help me with my depression over Mingus’ death. Taco (His full registered name is Taco Grande McGlasson) is a 5 month old Pomeranian. As many of my friends here know (and other places, too) – I have another Pom named Easter. She is 12 and I plan for her to live forever.

It has been 5 years since we had a puppy in my house so the adjustment is a little weird but Taco is a snuggle bug – which is lovely. He is funny and smart and I love the dash of black over his eyes – he looks like he has evil eyebrows and he is ready to take over the world.

I still miss Mingus and I will probably never ever own another Golden Retriever. I don’t think I could bear it again. And that hollow feeling – that scooped out strange feeling – is still there. Whenever I see a Golden, I just ache. But I have to go on. I have to get it together.

So yeah Life is grand, Love is real and Beauty is everywhere…
